# Prevent spam submissions

Spam submissions are fake form entries created by bots. They can flood your inbox and waste your time. This guide shows simple ways to reduce spam and keep your form clean.

### ⚙️ 1) Enable reCAPTCHA (Recommended)

reCAPTCHA helps block bots before they can submit your form.

**Google reCaptcha**  is a free service that protects your website from spam and abuse. [**Google reCaptcha** ](https://globosoftware.net/kb/how-to-add-google-recaptcha-v2-to-your-form/) uses an advanced risk analysis engine and adaptive CAPTCHAs to keep automated software from engaging in abusive activities on your site. 

It does this while letting your valid users pass through with ease.

### ⚙️ 2) **Limit one customer one submission**

You can restrict users to a single submission based on their email address or phone number.
