Translate a form

If your Shopify store supports multiple languages, you can manually translate your forms to match each language.​

For example: On the site, select the Chinese language of the site, the form text display in Chinese too.

Steps to manage

1. Open the app > click Forms > open the form you want translate

1. Select the target language in the language button above the form preview (Form example: Chinese)

Note: Only the languages available in your Shopify store will appear in this dropdown.​ Learn more

3. Manurally edit the text of the form (field label, placeholder, field description, mails, error message,..) in target language (Chinese).

Important Reminder: Selecting a language from the dropdown does not automatically translate your form. You need to manually enter the translated text (such as field labels, descriptions, and messages) for each language version of your form.

4. Click Save to update the change in the form

1. Repeat for Other Languages: Repeat steps 3–5 for each additional language you want to support.
