# Change the app language

Switch the app's admin portal interface to your preferred language.

{% hint style="warning" %}
This changes the app's admin interface for **you**, in the Shopify admin. It does not translate your forms and your customers see no difference at all.
{% endhint %}

## ⚙️ How to Change the Language

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
Open the Powerful Contact Form Builder app **Dashboard** > scroll down to the bottom
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Click the **Language** dropdown > select your preferred language from the list
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

<details>

<summary>My colleague sees the app in a different language</summary>

That is expected. The choice is stored in each browser, so every person who opens the app picks their own language and nobody else is affected.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I set the language for my customers here?</summary>

No. A visitor's language comes from your storefront and from the translations you saved on the form itself.
