# Url
Collect a web address and have the app check the format before the form submits.
The **Url** field collects a web address and checks it looks like one. Use it on an influencer or affiliate application to collect a social profile, on a wholesale form to collect the applicant's store website, or on a design brief to collect a link to reference material.
## 🔧 How to Set It
In the form editor, click **Add element** > select **URL**.
The field will be added to your form, and its settings will open on the left.

### ✅ URL Validation
The URL field checks whether the entered website address follows a valid format.
**Important:** URLs must include `https://` at the beginning.
* ✅ Valid: `https://example.com`
* ❌ Invalid: `www.example.com`
If the URL is invalid, customers must correct it before submitting the form.

**Tip:** Set a placeholder such as `https://example.com` to show customers the expected format.

## 🔄 How It Works
* **Valid URL:** The form can be submitted if all other required fields and validations pass.
* **Invalid URL:** The field displays an error and asks the customer to correct the address.
* **Submitted value:** The URL is saved as entered and appears in submissions, notification emails, exports, and connected integrations.
