# Route Admin email by answer

Send each submission to the right person, based on what the visitor selected in the form.

**Example:** "Web Dev" goes to `web@yourstore.com`, "Support" goes to `support@yourstore.com`, and "Sale" goes to `sale@yourstore.com`.

## 🔍 How It Works

```
Visitor picks an option 
→ A hidden field holds the matching email 
→ App sends the admin email to that address
```

For example:

If the user selects “Web Dev”, the email will go to `web@example.com`\
If the user selects “Sales”, the email will go to `sales@example.com`\
If the user selects “Support”, it will go to `support@example.com`

You need two things: a **question** (the visitor picks an option) and a **Hidden field** (holds the email address for each option).

## 🔧 How to Set It

### **1. Add the question**

Add a field with options, such as a Checkbox or Dropdown: *"Who do you want to contact?"* with options **Web Dev**, **Support**, **Sale**.

### **2. Add a Hidden field**

* Add a **Hidden** element to form > select **Data type** > **Dynamic value**

* Match each option to an email

In the Hidden field, set **When** to your question. For each option, choose it under **is** and type one email under **then value**.

### 3.Turn on dynamic email

* From **Elements** tab, move to **Mail** > **Admin email**
* Tick on checkbox **Also send to dynamic email** > **Select email’s element** in dropdown
* select the **Hidden** element you just created

### 4. Save it

Click **Save**, then submit the form once to test it.

> **⚠️ One email per value.**
>
> Each option can only send to **one** email address. Two addresses in one value (like `a@store.com, b@store.com`) won't work. To notify more people, add one email per option, or add the extra person to the regular **Email** field, which receives every submission.

## 🛠️ Not Working?

* **No email arrived:** Check that **Also send to dynamic email** is ticked and points to the **Hidden** field.
* **Wrong person got it:** Check that the option under **is** matches the question's option exactly.
* **Nothing sent for one option:** Make sure that option has a rule with an email under **then value**.
